What makes an entrance a Grand Entrance? Could it be a Grey Ironbark Solid Timber Bar? After seeing Austral Hotel Korumburra’s major refurbishment completed we sure think so!

Brian O’Neill contacted us when they were ready to get started on realising the dreams they had for creating a more spacious, light-filled modernised bar in the hotel. As is the case with many hotels, the rustic charm and great character of the heritage building had been a little overcome with the dark and damage that age inflicts. What was needed was a modern lift that wouldn’t compromise the cosy, welcoming atmosphere in the bar.

The brief was given: Brian had a good idea of what he was wanting, knew how much he had to spend, and understandably, was not prepared to sacrifice quality. Through our supply of reputable equipment, high quality customised stainless steel benching and a superb, curved ironbark bar top we were able to not only meet, but exceed Brian’s expectations

"They did everything that was required for the project. They weren't only interested in doing the stainless and equipment"

Ensuring the stainless steel benching fitted snuggly around the curved ironbark top, and then lining up the cabinetry would have been one of our biggest challenges. Our hats go off to the excellent craftsmanship that made this achievable.

Through consistent and effective communication, we were able to ensure that no trades held another up, and therefore were able to stick to proposed timelines.
